SPD Technology has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the internationally recognized standard for information security management. The certification was issued by TÜV NORD, one of the world’s leading independent certification bodies, and is the company’s first internationally recognized certification.
SPD Technology passed the audit on its first attempt with zero critical findings. The company completed the 14-month certification project entirely with internal resources, without external consultants. During that time, it updated and implemented around 100 policies, processes, and standards, introduced new technical and organizational security measures, and strengthened its access control, risk management, and team training.
The certification spans the company’s service delivery processes, including the protection of client data, personal information, and source code, as well as physical security and employee onboarding and offboarding.

For clients, the certification simplifies vendor due diligence and tender qualification, where ISO 27001 is often a mandatory requirement. It also reduces the need for clients to run their own third-party audits of the company. Because ISO 27001 shares most of its controls with industry-specific frameworks such as PCI DSS, it also gives SPD Technology a strong foundation for future compliance in FinTech, payments, and other regulated industries.
