We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join us as part of our team.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Delivery Manager to take ownership of the successful end-to-end delivery of software development projects for a dedicated portfolio of clients. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring their business objectives are met through our technical solutions.
The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional project teams, managing project scope and budget, proactively mitigating risks, and guaranteeing the high quality and profitability of every engagement. You are the critical link between our clients and our development teams, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional results.
As a qualified expert, You will
- Client Relationship Management.
Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of clients, building strong, long-term relationships. Lead client-facing communications, including regular status meetings, steering committee presentations, and strategic business reviews. Manage client expectations regarding scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring alignment and transparency at all times. Serve as the first point of escalation for client issues, working to resolve them swiftly and effectively.
- Project Delivery & Execution.
Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure, adhering to the company’s PMO framework. Diligently track project progress against key milestones, scope, and budget, providing accurate status reports to all stakeholders. Oversee the change management process, ensuring that any changes to scope are properly documented, estimated, and approved via Change Orders.
- Team Leadership & Coordination.
Lead, motivate, and support dedicated project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Identify and remove impediments for the development team to ensure smooth and predictable delivery.
- Financial & Commercial Management.
Monitor project health and profitability, tracking budget burndown, resource utilization, and project margins. Contribute to the pre-sales process by assisting with scoping, estimation, and the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs) for new and existing clients. Ensure timely and accurate client invoicing in collaboration with the finance department.
- Risk & Quality Management.
Proactively identify, assess, and document project risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
We’re looking for you if you have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing software development projects.
- Experience in a client-facing role within an IT outsourcing is essential.
- Strong practical experience with Agile methodologies and a deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
