About the role

Work Environment

The role offers a flexible work schedule, allowing you to adapt your working hours.

As a qualified expert, You will

  • Maintaining existing automated tests
  • Creating new automated tests
  • Help the dev team with manual testing

We’re looking for you if you have

  • Solid Java skills
  • Experience writing automated tests for REST APIs using Java
  • Experience with a test engine such as JUnit or TestNG (preferably JUnit)
  • Ability to work with relational databases through code
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with either Maven or Gradle

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Spring Boot (used for DI and config management)
  • Experience with ORMs (we use Spring Data over JPA/Hibernate)
  • Basic understanding of Kafka Soft Skills
  • Thinks critically and spots gaps in test coverage
  • Can read and extend existing test code
  • Cares about test value, not just coverage numbers
