About the Role:

The Legal Team at SPD Technology plays a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and enabling business operations through strategic legal support. We work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to provide clear, pragmatic, and business-oriented legal guidance. Our key areas of responsibility include:
1. Corporate & Commercial Law:
  • drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including service agreements, NDAs, SOWs, partnership agreements, and other business-related documents.
  • managing corporate governance matters for the company’s legal entities.
  • ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in different jurisdictions.
2. Employment & contractor relations:
  • advising on employment and contractor engagement models, minimising legal risks.
  • assisting HR in labor law matters, employment contracts, and workplace policies.
  • managing legal issues related to independent contractors and employment classification.
3. Regulatory compliance & risk management:
  • monitoring and advising on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company’s operations.
  • ensuring GDPR and data privacy compliance for recruitment, employee management, and client data.
  • developing internal policies to align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
4. Dispute resolution & claims management:

We’re looking for you if you have

  • Education: Master’s degree in Law .
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with the practice in an international or IT/technology-driven environment (if any).
  • Legal expertise: Understanding of corporate and commercial law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Language skills: Minimum B1 level of English (both written and spoken) to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and review legal documents.
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills: ability to assess legal risks, provide clear legal advice, and support business decision-making.
  • Attention to detail: strong ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts with precision.
  • Proactive & business-oriented approach: ability to balance legal risks with business priorities and provide practical solutions.
  • Communication & collaboration: strong interpersonal skills to work closely with cross-functional teams while maintaining an independent and ethical approach to legal matters.

As a qualified expert, You will

The Legal Counsel will primarily collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance, Sales, Delivery, Finance and Leadership), ensuring smooth legal support across business functions.

As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, managing contractual relationships, and mitigating risks for the company. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • provide legal consultation and support to internal departments and colleagues on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
  • advise on legal risks, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • prepare, review, and negotiate agreements with colleagues and clients.
  • organize the signing and execution of legal agreements.
  • draft and negotiate agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company.
  • Participate in negotiations with outstaff partners together with the Delivery/Management/Talent Acquisition Team;
    -draft, review, and negotiate agreements with international partners.
    -prepare and manage client agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.
  • communicate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities on legal matters.
    -provide legal support during inspections and investigative actions at the company.
  • represent the company in courts and legal proceedings when required.
  • manage legal disputes, claims, and risk mitigation strategies.
