We are looking for an Full Stack Engineer to join us as part of our team.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll develop the platform that empowers millions to design and order custom photo products—from books to wall art—through an intuitive, visually rich experience. Your work on both frontend (React) and backend (Ruby on Rails) systems will directly shape how users preserve cherished memories, while tackling challenges like real-time design previews, high-performance rendering, and scalable e-commerce workflows. This role offers the unique opportunity to blend technical craftsmanship with meaningful human impact, ensuring every feature delivers both pixel-perfect quality and emotional resonance.

We’re looking for you if you have

• 3+ years of professional experience in fullstack web development.
• Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails (including background jobs, RESTful APIs, service objects).
• Solid experience with React.js, including hooks, component-based architecture, and state management. 
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Comfortable working with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of automated testing (RSpec, Jest, etc.) and TDD/BDD best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and collaborate across functions (design, QA, product).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Bonus points

• Experience with GraphQL and API performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Webpack, TypeScript, or Next.js.
• Knowledge of image processing, canvas manipulation, or similar browser-based visual tools.
• Background in e-commerce platforms or experience with consumer-facing web applications at scale.

• Exposure to AWS, Docker, or other cloud and containerization technologies.
