Now we are looking for a Middle Product Owner for PitchBook.

About the role

In this role, you will join a newly formed team that will focus on integrating new data sources, improving data representation, and ensuring data consistency across the platform.

PitchBook is a financial data and software company with offices in London, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle. Serving clients in 19 languages, we provide thousands of global business professionals with comprehensive data on the private and public markets to help them discover and execute opportunities with confidence. Worldwide usage includes large corporations, start-ups, venture capital and private equity firms, investment banks, and many others.

Work Environment

The role offers a flexible work schedule, allowing you to adapt your working hours. You’ll collaborate closely with clients from the US, participating in sync meetings that extend no later than 19:00 (GMT+2).  

Meetings involvement: you should be able to drive classic Scrum Ceremonies, building and maintaining strong and healthy relationships with the Product Manager, Group Product Manager, In-house and offshore Data Analysts, and other internal stakeholders across the PitchBook Platform.

As a qualified expert, You will:

  • Work closely with the Product Manager to plan and coordinate the execution and delivery of product roadmap (slicing on features, slicing features on backlog items, controls data management of features and backlog items);
  • Document new features and communicate functionality to delivery teams;
  • Populate and maintain the product backlog;
  • With guidance, support building the product roadmap at the squad/team level based on strategy and ongoing stakeholder input;
  • Participate in team demos and retrospectives ensuring feature demos are presented to customers early and often (SLA: 1-2 Sprints).

We’re looking for you if you have:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience working with engineering teams or feature delivery teams.
  • The ability to document new features and effectively communicate them to engineering teams.
  • 1 year of experience in Fintech Data Diligence, Fintech Investment, or Business Intelligence domains.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • English — Upper Intermediate (B2 and above), and Ukrainian — fluent (both spoken and written).

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working with hedge funds or equity funds and understanding their workflows.
  • PSPO II Certification or a relevant alternative.
