This role is crucial to the team’s success, directly contributing to the quality and impact of our product delivery.
About the project
The team optimizing and automating the user experience using a graphical user interface with creating and maintaining PitchBook accounts, groups, licenses, and users. Also support PitchBook platform and marketing configuration. The project is in active development.
PitchBook is an analytical platform for investment professionals, it collects information from various sources and presents it in a convenient way for users. The PitchBook platform is very useful for almost everyone who operates on the financial market — for start-ups and large corporations, for venture capital and private equity firms, for investment banks and market analytics, and many others. The engineering team is continuously growing and improving the technical landscape. For instance, last year we’ve already finished migration to k8s for testing environments and production. From a processes perspective, we’ve completed the transformation to Team topologies and Scrum-based Agile.

As a qualified expert You will
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Collaboration in team and other teams to meet sprint’s goal
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Comply with project plans and industry/company/team standards
- Provide expertise in some parts of product.
- Designing features and application pages based on provided wireframes and requirements
- Developing components for further usage across the application
- Estimating assignments and creating decomposition for them
- Investigating technical solutions to improve and optimize existing functionality.
We’re looking for you if you have
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.
- Familiarity with npm and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Analytical and abstract thinking, ability to communicate with abstractions.
- Problem solving skills.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Functional Programming, Component-Driven Development.
- Product-oriented attitude.
- Self-motivation, proactivity, positive attitude.
- Result oriented, true desire to deliver.
- Continuous self-improvement.
