We are looking for a Legal Director to join us as part of our team.

About the role:

The Legal functions provide advice and counsel across multiple areas of business law related to an organization’s legal rights and obligations. The role acts as an advisor on legal issues involving the organization’s government and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead department and organize services, personally provide the answers on a high organizational level and complex request (for executives), facilitate problem solving in extremely complex situations, adapt/align legal function to the company strategy.
  • Research, analyze, and interpret existing and emerging laws, statutes, and regulations; effectively communicate and interpret these to the company’s leadership team and employees. Conduct respective Q&A sessions and meetings to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Offer consulting services on specific legal matters to employees, providing clear and practical guidance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and address issues of legal status, risk, and their consequences on both the company and individual levels. Serve as a trustworthy legal advisor for both employees and company management.
  • Represent and advocate for the organization in litigation, arbitration, mediation, or other disputes with courts, government agencies, or other legal authorities.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel in business-related areas of expertise, including but not limited to corporate law, real estate, tax, business litigation, transactions/antitrust, compliance, intellectual property, employment/labor, corporate governance, and ethics.
  • Structure, draft, negotiate, and/or approve legal contracts, letters of agreement, policies, and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
  • Oversee and develop compliance programs to ensure all organizational activities meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize legal exposure.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to support business objectives and minimize risks. Oversee legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.

We’re looking for you if you have:

Education & Experience

  • 10+ years experience in Corporate law
  • Master’s degree in Law

  • Deep subject matter expertise in law. 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Attention to detail, especially in dealing with people and cases.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
