About the role:

As the Director of Marketing, you will lead the marketing organization at SPD Technology. As the company’s senior-most marketing leader, you will play a key role in shaping strategy, driving brand development, and executing the Go-to-Market plans for all of our offerings. You will lead a dynamic marketing team, ensuring operational excellence across all functions. In collaboration with the Sales team, you will refine and communicate value propositions to the market, ensuring a steady flow of leads into the pipeline.

We’re looking for you if you have:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role within the IT Services industry, preferably at the Director level or above.
  • Strong understanding of and experience in content creation, digital marketing, PR & communications, and corporate branding.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and deliver measurable results.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively (minimum C1 level of English).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in building efficient marketing organizations, defining specialized functions, and delegating responsibilities effectively.

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and positioning strategies.
  • Provide strategic insights to inform the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and Go-to-Market plans for all value offerings.

Branding:

  • Define and maintain the company’s brand identity.
  • Strengthen SPD’s brand recognition and reputation in the market.
  • Build brand awareness among potential and existing clients, fostering client advocacy and loyalty.

Marketing Channels:

  • Oversee digital marketing activities, including website management, SEO, SMM, and other relevant channels.
  • Develop and implement an inbound marketing strategy aimed at lead generation for the Sales team.
  • In close partnership with Sales and Delivery teams, lead marketing campaigns focused on brand awareness and pipeline growth through events, webinars, and client conferences.

Communications & PR:

  • Lead the PR and communications function to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all media and markets.
  • Ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms and channels.

Marketing Operations and Excellence:

  • Hire, mentor, and develop marketing team members, ensuring their professional growth and efficiency.
  • Monitor key marketing performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance marketing strategies.
  • Select and manage external marketing service providers to ensure market leadership and operational efficiency.
