We are looking for a Business Operations Manager to join us as part of our team.

About the role:

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and growth of the business unit with 300+ software development specialists in Ukraine and worldwide. The team is tightly integrated with a serviced customer which requires ensuring efficient and effective execution of integrational projects in IT, HR, Talent Development, Customer Success, Financial and Legal areas. The BOM will manage and own business administration tasks, curate analytical and predictive efforts, support strategic initiatives, and have the autonomy to maintain relationships with key customer’s stakeholders and make tactical decisions within the areas of competency. This role is crucial for streamlining operations, freeing up and supporting senior leadership for more strategic work. Also, the role can be evaluated as a major part of account management duties with focus on day-to-day operations excellence of tightly integrated cross-organizational business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational & Resource Management:
    • Oversee and manage daily BU business operations to ensure smooth execution of projects and tasks.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of BU performance.
    • Account BU resources and associated expense budgets.
    • Ensure BU resources are used in the most efficient way.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, workflows and standards.
    • Collaborate with recruiting to hit the critical goals.
  • Team Management:
    • Involve, manage, enable and train Business Operation Specialists for the task execution.
    • Define, delegate, coordinate and prioritize work for the Business Operation Specialists.
  • Project Management:
    • Coordinate and manage multiple projects in IT, HR, Talent Development, Customer Success, Financial and Legal , ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives and established global guidelines.
  • Business Administration:
    • Handle contract management, supporting negotiations, renewals, and compliance.
    • Own business continuity planning (BCP) and ensure readiness for any operational disruptions (relying on corresponding company services)
    • Oversee financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and rate management.
  • HR and Talent Development:
    • Collaborate with HR to align people initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, engagement management, and employee development with BU strategic roadmap.
    • Collaborate with the People team to develop and implement retention, support and  talent development programs to support strategically important skill development.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Facilitate feedback culture across the BU and customer’s organization.
    • Perform data driven measurements of customer relationship status: NPS, engagement, etc.
    • Collect verbal and written feedback from relevant stakeholders and team members.
    • Highlighting zones of growth, Initiating improvement plans and engaging proper connections to improve customer experience.
    • Manage customer’s request inflow.
    • Organizing business reviews with customer.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Assist BULeadership in strategic planning and execution of key business initiatives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements and strategic opportunities.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Own the reporting for the customer.
    • Prepare and present operational reports to BU Leadership.
    • Facilitate effective communication within the business unit and with external stakeholders.

We’re looking for you if you have:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, project management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and business operations successfully.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong business acumen. 
  • Good understanding of industry, market, existing challenges, and peculiarities.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in IT, HR, and Talent Development projects.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using business management software and tools.
  • Good financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
