We are looking for a Senior Digital Analytics Engineer to join us as part of our team.
About the role
The Digital Analytics Engineer will play a key role in managing and enhancing data tracking and analytics for a large-scale eCommerce platform. The role involves working with advanced analytics tools such as Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Target, and Adobe Journey Optimizer (CJO) to lead data-driven initiatives and deliver insights that improve customer journeys and overall platform performance.
The engineer will join a global company specializing in digital content and gift card solutions, whose ecosystem spans the full lifecycle of gift cards – from issuance and distribution to payment processing, exchange, and refilling. Beyond gift cards, the company offers a variety of digital products including eGifts, incentive cards, promotions, and rewards.
Team
The team currently consists of five members and is responsible for the entire web analytics domain – from data modeling and dashboard creation to customer engagement tracking, as well as A/B testing implementation and support.

Work Environment
~40 h/week. Schedule is flexible, but with availability in the evening till 19:00 CET.
As a qualified expert You will
- Implement and evolve our customer‑data and experimentation stack across brands/regions: instrument web events (Adobe Web SDK/Tags or GTM), enforce clean data contracts.
- Configure AEP: design XDM schemas, datasets, and Data Prep mappings; set up identity namespaces and governance/consent labels.
- Enable CJA: build Data Connections and Data Views; define metrics/dimensions, session logic, and attribution; publish Analysis Workspace projects for stakeholders.
- Support Adobe Target experimentation: create A/B, XT, and AP activities; define success metrics and guardrails; own QA and post‑test readouts.
- Ensure coexistence of multiple measurement stacks with clean event contracts, shared KPI definitions, and tenant-level standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain dashboards for performance analysis.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align tracking strategies with business goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure that the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure.
We’re looking for you if you have
- 4+ years in analytics/data engineering or digital analytics implementation for web products.
- Experience with one or more modern analytics/CDP stacks (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics, Segment/mParticle/Tealium/RudderStack, Mixpanel/Amplitude).
- Proficiency in tag management implementation and tag QA/debugging on Adobe Tags (Launch) or GTM (triggers, variables, dataLayer standards, preview/debug tools).
- Experience in data engineering, data processing, data modeling
- Strong event data modeling: users vs. sessions, deduplication, attribution/lookback windows.
- SQL proficiency for building metrics, QA checks, and data validations.
- Hands-on A/B testing on any platform, including metrics and guardrails.
- Solid JavaScript fundamentals for instrumentation and simple transformation scripts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
