Now we are looking for a General QA Engineer for PitchBook.
About the role
In this role, you will be fully responsible for QA processes and their continuous improvement. You will significantly impact business proposal discussions and provide valuable advice to enhance quality and user experience (UX).
PitchBook — a platform for investment professionals. Our software provides access to data and the analytical tools to get answers fast and discover promising opportunities. Uncovers actionable insights and trends hidden within the financial data of more than three million companies. Users all over the world include large corporations, start-ups, venture capital and private equity firms, investment banks, and many others. Features of PitchBook: Advanced Search / Discovery & Insights / Company Profiles / Alerting of Changes / Many more.

Stream Development Lead, 4 BE, 1 FE, 2 QA.
Work Environment
The role offers a flexible work schedule, allowing you to adapt your working hours. You’ll collaborate closely with clients from the US, participating in sync meetings that extend no later than 19:00 (GMT+2). Additionally, you will take part in demo presentations for the Product Manager, showcasing progress and updates. The team follows a Scrum-based Agile methodology.
As a qualified expert, You will
- Provide functional and non-functional testing.
- Analyze product requirements and support the development process.
- Provide continuous test process optimization and improvements.
- Investigate, accumulate, and analyze information from specifications, mockups, tickets, chats, and emails for further documentation.
- Create, manage, and control test documentation — test cases, test reports, checklists, etc.
- Perform regular testing runs (Regression, Smoke).
- Monitor production with Kibana (ELK stack), Grafana, etc.
- Create automation UI and API tests.
We’re looking for you if you have
- 3+ years of experience in QA.
- Understanding and ability to apply QA processes and test design techniques.
- Experience in working with databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience in REST API testing (e.g., using Postman tool, Swagger).
- Experience in using Chrome/Firefox Dev Tools.
- Understanding of application client-server architecture.
- Expertise in automated testing (creating and supporting automation tests).
- Expertise in working with Email Client Tools for effective review of email content.
- Team-work oriented: Our QA community comprises 60+ QA Engineers and SDETs, built on mutual respect, support, and communication.
- English — Upper Intermediate (B2 and above), Ukrainian — fluent (both spoken and written).
Bonus Points
- 1+ years of experience in test automation using Java and Selenium/Selenide.
- Experience in finance/investment industry-related projects, including knowledge of basic terms and key standards.
- Experience in working with Confluence.
- Experience with test documentation via a test management tool (preferably TestRail).
- Experience with task trackers (preferably Jira).
- Basic knowledge of IDE (preferably IntelliJ IDEA), Docker, CI, and Git.
- Proven remote team collaboration experience.
