About the project
Big international company whose main business is related to gift cards and their functioning: issuing and distribution of cards, processing of payments, exchanging, refilling, etc. It also operates with many other types of digital content like eGifts, incentive cards, promotions, rewards, etc. The company has several e-commerce sites and platforms that are helping to distribute the gift card products. Also, the company has a bunch of own core services that perform all the management of gift cards in the ecosystem.
There is a new eCommerce portal built on Adobe Commerce platform and internal back-end services. On the front-end – React and AEM. Now there is active development of this platform and migration of traffic from the old version. New portal is in production, but new features are being added every month. Planned: to add better personalization support, to improve products search, to increase performance of the site, to increase conversion in other ways according to product managers requirements, to add new types of products, to add more countries and currencies.
Seeking an experienced Digital Analytics Engineer to manage and enhance data tracking and analytics on a big eCommece platform. This role will involve working with advanced analytics tools (Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Target and Adobe CJO), leading data-driven projects, and delivering insights to improve customer journeys.
Work schedule
~40 h/week. Schedule is flexible, but with availability in the evening till 20-21:00 CET.
Meetings & Processes
Daily standup meetings ~30 mins each. On-demand meetings to discuss the projects where you are involved. 2 weeks scrum.
Team:1 analytics engineer in California, 1 data scientist in EU, 1 analytics team lead in US east cost, few data engineers in India and US.

As a qualified expert, You will
- Implement and optimize analytics solutions using Adobe Target and AEP, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align tracking strategies with business goals.
- Lead the migration of analytics tools and provide training and support to team members.
- Design, implement, and maintain dashboards for performance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and security, to ensure that the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Share knowledge within a team.
We’re looking for you if you have
- Overall experience in software development 4+ years
- Experience working as a software engineer for Web (knowledge in HTTP, HTML, web browsers, DOM, events, cookies, session)
- Knowledge of JavaScript, good debugging skills
- Experience with e-commerce (understanding specifics, main events and metrics, A/B testing)
- Experience integration with 3rd-party APIs and SDKs
- Preferably – experience integration of Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or any web tracking or tagging systems, understanding of data layer basics, user profiling.
- Experience working with databases, understanding different data formats and structures
- Basic statistical skills, ability to analyse web-tracking data (page views, clicks, etc.)
- Good analytical skills, ability to learn new things fast
- Good spoken English, clear and efficient communication
- Self-starter (proactiveness, providing ideas, taking ownership)
- Bonus Points
- Experience working with Adobe Cloud products
- Experience in visualization of data insights and building dashboards
