We are looking for a Senior Python/Django Engineer to join us as part of our team.
About the role
We are looking for a senior Python developer to take ownership of this feature. The initial solution has been partially implemented but is not yet functional. Your task will be to review the existing codebase, identify issues, and deliver a fully working solution. This is a high-impact role requiring independence, problem-solving, and end-to-end delivery.
Our client is a U.S.-based real estate company focused on rental services. They are building an AI-powered assistant to enhance customer interactions. The core feature is integrating a VoIP phone system with a real-time audio-to-audio AI model, allowing users to have natural voice conversations with the assistant.
As a qualified expert, You will
- Take ownership of a critical feature and drive it to completion.
- Review the existing codebase and evaluate the partially implemented solution.
- Identify technical issues, propose improvements, and implement fixes.
- Deliver a fully functional, production-ready solution.
- Work independently while ensuring high-quality standards.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and optimize performance.
- Manage end-to-end delivery, from analysis to deployment
We’re looking for you if you have
- 6+ years of professional Python experience
- Strong knowledge of FastAPI
- Strong knowledge of WebSockets in a Python/Django environment.
- Hands-on experience integrating third-party services and APIs
- Proven track record of debugging and stabilizing complex systems
- Proven experience integrating with VoIP phone providers such as Twilio
