And now we are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join us as part of our team.

About the role:

Are you passionate about building the systems that power the financial world? PitchBook is a leading financial data and software company that is revolutionizing the private and public equity markets. We provide our clients with the most comprehensive, reliable, and actionable data, research, and insights to help them make informed investment decisions and stay ahead of the competition.

You will join the team responsible for developing core systems that manage and validate large volumes of financial market data. The team builds a unified environment that consolidates several internal tools, streamlines workflows, standardizes QA processes, and enables scalable automation for data operations.

Stage: Active development focused on automation and integration.

Key Deliverables: Internal portal, automated validation workflows, system integration with data services.

Team setup: Team Lead, 3 BE, 2 FE, 2 SDET. Reporting: all engineers report to EM. 

Tech Stack: React, TypeScript, k8s, OpenAPI, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elastic.

Work Environment: 

Flexible schedule with mandatory attendance for core team ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retros, and sprint planning). The environment emphasizes autonomy, deep technical ownership, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

As a qualified expert You will

  • Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications for automation systems
  • Build reusable and performant UI components and internal frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with backend and QA teams on full-stack automation flows
  • Participate in system architecture discussions and technical planning
  • Ensure best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation
  • Support mentoring and onboarding of new team members
  • Continuously improve performance and user experience.

We’re looking for you if you have

Core Skills: 

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering with React and TypeScript
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, DOM APIs, and modern frontend architecture patterns
  • Experience with design systems, component-based UI development, and accessibility
  • Expertise in frontend build and testing tools
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code quality automation
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, code splitting, lazy loading.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong ownership and initiative
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Mentorship and code review experience
  • Agile mindset and focus on delivery excellence.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with automation-driven UI systems or internal tools
  • Understanding of data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3.js)
  • Experience with large-scale data management or FinTech systems.
