We are seeking an experienced and visionary Middle Software Development Engineer in Test to join the team responsible for the platform, which is building a flexible system to manage the collection, enrichment, and sharing of data across multiple internal systems. The platform ensures consistency, reliability, and observability of data pipelines serving analytical and operational workloads. This project serves as the foundation for multiple data-driven initiatives across products, enhancing internal data capabilities and time-to-insight.
Team setup: Team Lead, 5 BE, 2 FE, 2 SDET, Reporting: all engineers reports to EM.
Tech Stack: Java 17+, k8s, Spring, OpenAPI, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elastic
Work Environment:
Schedule: Flexible hours with required attendance at team meetings.
Collaboration: Close cooperation with Product, Data Operations, and Platform teams.
Focus: Automation, performance, and scalability improvements.
As a qualified expert You will
- Design and maintain backend services and APIs
- Participate in architecture and technical discussions
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Collaborate with QA and FE teams to ensure quality delivery
- Improve system performance, reliability, and automation
- Contribute in team ceremonies and code reviews
We’re looking for you if you have
Core Skills
- Strong knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot (MVC, JDBC, Security)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architecture (Kafka)
- Hands-on experience with Clouds (GCP ) and Kubernetes
- Understanding of RESTful API design and OpenAPI
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack)
