We are looking for Middle SEO Specialist to join us as part of our team.

About the role

In this role, you’ll support our SEO/AEO efforts to improve search rankings, enhance visibility, and drive inbound leads under the guidance of Marketing Director and with support of the marketing team.

About the project

Right now, SPD Technology is collaborating with an external SEO agency. However, this collaboration doesn’t prove to be efficient: due to their outdated and farfetched practices, we’re getting the majority of traffic from non-target countries (such as India, Malaysia, etc.) and the overall engagement with our website isn’t as high as it could be, which generally affects our digital visibility and inbound lead gen. The latest marketing audit has demonstrated that we need to take ownership of our SEO and backlink strategy by hiring an in-house specialist and terminate our current collaboration with the agency.

Team

Our marketing and PR team currently includes 5 people including Marketing Director, Content Manager, Sr. Content Writer, mid-Content Writer (PT) and Designer

Work Environment

Flexible work schedule (40 hours a week), ideally, based in Ukraine or Eastern Europe, reporting to Marketing Director and working closely with Content Team.

As a qualified expert You will

  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value opportunities, focusing on navigational, commercial, and transactional intent.
  • Collaborate with the content team, providing actionable optimization guidelines for maximum search impact.
  • Implement on-page optimizations like title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking based on provided guidelines.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and help fix issues like crawlability, indexing, and schema markup.
  • Assist in improving Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and page speed.
  • Contribute to link-building efforts targeting authoritative, industry-relevant sites.
  • Help maintain a clean backlink profile by disavowing toxic links.
  • Optimize content for featured snippets, FAQ schema, and AI-driven search results.
  • Prepare regular reports on rankings, traffic, and keyword performance.

We’re looking for you if you have

  • Proven experience in B2B SEO, ideally within fintech, technology, outsourcing, or AI/ML sectors.
  • Working knowledge of Google’s algorithm updates and AI-driven search platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok).
  • Expertise in technical SEO, schema markup, and structuring content for AI-optimized outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, and provide clear recommendations.
  • Proficiency with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • A strategic, results-focused mindset with a passion for delivering measurable success.
  • English proficiency (upper-intermediate or higher) for effective communication and collaboration.
