SPD-Ukraine and SPD Group become one brand, SPD Technology. With the globalization of the team, the company’s development strategy and positioning, and the intention to develop its own presence in international markets, a decision for rebranding was made.

Large corporations have acquired NimbleCommerce and PitchBook. That meant huge and rapid growth for SPD.

Very soon, Bogdan and Oleksandr realized that the strategy needed to be changed and started looking for opportunities to work with foreign clients. They met a client from California with Slavic roots, thus brought them to the partnership with Pitchbook.

SPD was founded in Cherkasy (Ukraine)

It was Oleksandr’s hometown, and the first time the company dealt only with local clients.

At the time, as Java developers, they had already worked for several companies and were not satisfied with the experience they had gained. The inner desire to do much better brought them to the idea to build their own company in a completely different way.
