SPD Technology is looking for a Team Lead Java Engineering.
About the role
SPD Portal is an internal platform that provides tools for SPD Technology company consultants.
SPD Portal provides tools like:
- Time Tracking platform – provides the ability to track employee working time and create various types of reports, Jira integration.
- Company employee’s calendar – which displays all day statuses (vacation, holidays, illness, etc.), also controls the balance of their vacation.
- Projects and hierarchy – show all company projects and employee’s hierarchy in them.
- Career Path – provide information on required skills and possibilities of career growth for the consultant.
- Compensation Service – gives the ability to go through the merit review process.
This platform is very useful for all company employees and consultants.
You’ll work with the following stack
Java 11+, Spring Boot (MVC, JDBC, Security). Postgres, Docker.
Team
2 FE, 1 QA, 1 BE.
Work schedule
flexible with the requirement to attend all team meetings.
As a qualified expert, You will
- Managing the whole Engineering team.
- Communication with leadership and customers.
- Responsibility for Product delivery.
- Analyze requirements and contribute to project development.
- Take part in technical architecture and design.
- Cover existed and new code with Unit and integration tests.
- Perform code review.
- Basic server troubleshooting.
We’re looking for you if you have
- Computer Science knowledge: Algorithms, Data Structures, Performance, etc.
- 3-5 year’s experience,
- At least 1-2 years in Team Lead position and team management.
- Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum.
- PostgreSQL.
- Java fundamentals, OOP, Concurrency.
- Knowledge of Design patterns.
- Work with RESTful Web Services.
Nice to have
- Cloud technologies (AWS).
- Experience or knowledge of Docker.
- Writing test cases using JUnit4, JUnit5, Mockito, Spring Test, SpringBoot Test, etc.
