We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join us as part of our team. 

About the role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will join the team that works on the floLIVE project. By challenging traditional networks and IoT solutions, the service offers sustainable and profitable IoT revenue growth to chip-set manufacturers, IoT Cloud Platforms, and Service Providers. Service operates a self-developed, cloud-based connectivity enablement platform designed and built especially for IoT and encompasses a wide range of services to market verticals, from a full GSM core network, through IoT BSS and up to IoT vertical solutions — all provided as-a-service via our global cloud.

You’ll work with the following stack: 

Java/Kotlin, Gradle, Spring Framework, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Hazelcast, Docker, Kubernetes.

Team Structure:

Tech Lead, Lead, 1FE, 1BE.

As a qualified expert, You will:

  • Design and develop automation tests to increase & maintain quality and efficiency
  • Keep automation current, flexible, and designed to work within a continuous integration/deployment framework
  • Work with Product and QA automation teams to build a test strategy
  • Work with CI & DevOps teams to continually run your tests in CI/CD frameworks.

We’re looking for you if you have:

  • 4+ years of experience in automation testing of applications in a commercial/software development environment
  • 2+ years of experience with Java or Kotlin
  • Creation of Automation Test scenarios and Test cases by analyzing the functional specifications
  • Experience with standard automated test tools and instruments
  • Experience in writing Database queries using Relational databases like Postgres, MySQL
  • English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proactive problem-solver capable of finding quick solutions in complex environments.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in event-driven systems (Kafka). 
  • Experience in containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in CI/CD environments (Jenkins).  
  • Manual testing and Frontend automation experience.
