We are looking for an Presales Manager to join us as part of our team.
About the role
The Presales Manager will be responsible for managing the presales process and ensuring the successful conversion of potential clients from opportunities to contracted engagements. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to collaborate with internal teams and effectively communicate with clients. The Presales Manager will lead the creation of project proposals, including forming a team, managing resources, and taking full responsibility for delivering client-focused, competitive, and technically sound solutions.
As a qualified expert You will
Lead the Pre-Sales Process:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
- Ensure alignment between client requirements and the company’s service offerings.
Solution Design & Proposal Development:
- Work closely with technical teams to design software solutions that meet client requirements.
- Lead the proposal development process by assembling and managing a cross-functional team, including developers, architects, and project managers.
- Take full responsibility for creating a technically sound, competitive, and attractive proposal, including budget estimates, timelines, and deliverables.
Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact during the pre-sales process.
- Conduct presentations and technical discussions to articulate the value proposition of the company’s solutions.
- Address client concerns and objections in collaboration with the sales and technical teams.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with the company’s capabilities.
- Ensure smooth handover of projects from presales to delivery, with all necessary documentation and client expectations clearly outlined.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
- Identify potential competitive advantages and articulate these in proposals and presentations.
Support Sales Activities:
- Assist the sales team in preparing technical sales materials such as case studies, technical diagrams, and reference architectures.
We’re looking for you if you have
Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in software development or software solutions design.
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical requirements into clear and concise proposals.
- Familiarity with modern software technologies, architectures, and outsourcing models.
Pre-Sales Experience:
- Has experience in presales or solution architect activities within software development in IT outsourcing industry.
- Demonstrated success in converting leads into contracted clients through strong proposal management and client relationship skills.
Communication & Presentation Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present technical solutions to clients.
- Ability to influence client decisions by articulating the business value of technical solutions.
Team Leadership:
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing resources for proposal development.
- Strong project management skills to oversee the pre-sales lifecycle, including timelines and deliverables.
Business Acumen:
- Understanding of the business drivers for outsourced software solutions.
- Ability to balance technical and commercial aspects of proposal development.
Client-Focused:
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Commitment to understanding and addressing the client’s business challenges.
