And now we are looking for a Middle React Native Engineer to join us as part of our team.

About the role


Consumer electronics IoT start-up, designing food storage for the connected age. Operates in the food and beverage industry, specifically focusing on using artificial intelligence and automation to optimize kitchen operations and food preparation. Their technology aims to improve efficiency, reduce food waste, and enhance the overall quality and consistency of meals in commercial kitchens.

Technical stack: React Native, Node.js, Javascript/Typescript, AWS IoT, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, AWS CloudWatch, Docker.

Processes: Scrum.

Team: 1 Backend Engineer, 1 DevOps, 1 Architect, 1 QA Manual.

As a qualified expert, You will 

  • Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for React Native mobile applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented JavaScript and TypeScript code.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Implement features and functionalities that leverage and interact with various IoT devices and services.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in React Native and related technologies.
  • Optimize applications for performance and responsiveness across various devices and platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure code quality and stability.

We’re looking for you if you have

  • 3-5 years of experience as a React Native Front-End Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Experience with React Native core concepts, components, and best practices.
  • Experience with other front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., Redux, Redux Saga).
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to translate them into functional and intuitive interfaces.
  • Familiarity with IoT development concepts and potential for integrating with various devices and services (a plus).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points 

  • Knowledge of UI animation libraries (e.g., React Native Reanimated). 
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Experience in publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play.
