We are looking for an Business Analyst to join us as part of our team.
About the Role
A new project with our client, who specializes in providing tailored payment solutions, including eCommerce payment solutions, payment gateway services, and multi-currency processing. The document outlines a comprehensive payment processing and fraud prevention system designed to optimize transaction success rates, reduce costs, enhance the user experience, and provide in-depth analytics through a customizable dashboard.
Team Overview
A new team of 15 IT professionals will be formed from scratch, reporting to a Project Manager.
As a qualified expert, You will:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented correctly.
- Facilitate and participate in requirement validation, backlog grooming, and sprint planning sessions.
- Assist in developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in collaboration with UI/UX designer.
- Identify process improvements and propose solutions that align with business objectives.
- Conduct impact analysis for new changes and provide recommendations.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test cases and ensuring requirements are met.
- Maintain and update project documentation throughout the SDLC.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
We’re looking for you if you have:
- 2-5 years as a Business Analyst in IT or software development projects
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Experience with requirement gathering, writing user stories, and process modeling
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in fintech (Nice to have).
